I’m definitely going to check out the blog editorial calendar. I’ve been using your social media editorial calendar template since January and it’s been SOOO helpful in plotting out a strategic annual plan. The VPs at my company were really impressed when I used it to present my team’s social marketing plans for the fiscal year. Thanks for posting such useful stuff!

    • Beth that is SO great to hear! We are happy that the Social Media Editorial Calendar has been such a huge help in your team’s social marketing plans. The Blog Editorial calendar will help you break down the details to keep you and your team organized and on task. Thanks for your feed back and keep the suggestions coming on what helps you the most!

  2. Who/What inspired you to start a blog? Locally Diana Gardner-Williams Just a Cloud Away Journal has touched my heart in my life magically and it is my favorite to read.

The WHAT listening to Gary VanderChuck?? on the Success CD at least 6 months ago say YOU HAVE TO WRITE A BLOG – you just have to!

How often do you post to your blog?
    I do something every month.

  3. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for posting this! I have been preaching the importance of an Editorial Calendar FOREVER. It’s nice to see some validation (In other words, I’m not talking out of my bum!).

GREAT post, Farmers! Totally sharing. :)

  4. Great post with lots of helpful links. Editorial calendars really DO help-especially when you actually remember to use them!

I started my blog because I just couldn’t shut up in the Frugal Living forums and decided I needed to find a new platform before the forum folks got sick of me :) That was back in late 2005. . . started Frugal Upstate Jan 1, 2006 ;)

My favorite blogs to read are a mish-mash. . . and I go through phases. Sometimes I’m all about reading the social media blogs. Sometimes Crafts, decorating or DIY are my thing. This time of year I seem to spend a lot of time reading about gardening. . . I look for folks who can teach me something I don’t know and wrap it all up in an easy to read and pleasant to look at package.

I try to post 5X a week. Sometimes its a bit more, sometimes a bit less.

    • Thanks Jenn! Love learning about why you started your blog, what inspires you and how often you post! Wow!

Love that this was such a helpful resource too. Brandon and I wanted to make our editorial calendars accessible and FREE to other small business owners as well as CEO’s, Social Media Managers and bloggers who are still trying to figure it all out.

I think reading other blogs helps me make ours better. I get inspired and constantly learn SO much!

Thanks again for your comment! Really appreciate it :)
